Mcubes MFJS MeiLong 9×9 V3 cube Magnetic Ball-Core

Description

MoYu MFJS MeiLong 9×9 V3 Magnetic + Ball-Core – Advanced Big Cube Performance Redefined

The MFJS MeiLong 9×9 V3 (Magnetic + Ball-Core) represents a major leap forward in big cube engineering, bringing flagship-level technology into one of the most demanding puzzle formats ever created. Developed under the renowned MFJS line by MoYu, this third-generation MeiLong 9×9 is designed for speedcubers who want uncompromising performance, precision, and stability—without the extreme cost usually associated with premium large cubes.

Big cubes like the 9×9 are known for their complexity, weight, and tendency toward instability. The MeiLong 9×9 V3 directly addresses these challenges with a full magnetic system combined with a modern ball-core, setting a new standard for control and smoothness in high-order cubes.

Flagship Magnetic System with 208 Magnets

At the heart of the MeiLong 9×9 V3 is an advanced 208-magnet configuration, carefully placed across internal layers to ensure consistent, accurate alignment during every turn. This dense magnetic layout provides:

• Clear tactile feedback on all layers

• Reduced overshooting during fast turns

• Improved layer tracking even at high solving speeds

For a cube of this size, precise magnet strength and placement are critical. MFJS has tuned the magnets to strike the ideal balance—strong enough to guide layers into place, yet smooth enough to avoid a sluggish or “locked” feel. The result is a turning experience that feels controlled, predictable, and confidence-inspiring throughout long solves.

Ball-Core Technology for Core-Centered Stability

One of the most significant upgrades in the V3 version is the magnetic ball-core system. Featuring 8 embedded core magnets, the ball-core keeps the entire cube perfectly centered during turns, drastically reducing internal friction and uneven tension.

Key benefits of the ball-core system include:

• Smoother, more fluid rotations across all layers

• Noticeably reduced resistance compared to traditional 9×9 cores

• Enhanced corner-cutting stability

• A more “flagship” feel usually reserved for top-tier 3×3 cubes

This innovation transforms the way a 9×9 handles, making it feel lighter, faster, and far more controllable—even during extended solving sessions.

Infinite Core Adjustment for Personalized Setup

Every speedcuber has a preferred feel, and the MeiLong 9×9 V3 delivers with infinite core adjustment. The precision tensioning system allows you to fine-tune each axis independently, giving you full control over:

• Tightness vs. speed

• Stability vs. flexibility

• Personal turning style preferences

Whether you prefer a fast, loose setup for flowy solves or a tighter configuration for maximum control, this cube adapts perfectly to your needs.

Compact Size and Lightweight Design

One of the most impressive aspects of the MeiLong 9×9 V3 is its compact 65.5mm size. This makes it smaller and lighter than most 9×9 cubes currently available on the market.

• Item weight: 188 g

• Gross weight: 352 g

This reduced size significantly improves ergonomics, minimizing hand fatigue and making long solves far more comfortable. The lightweight design also enhances maneuverability, allowing for quicker finger movements and better overall control—especially important for high-layer cubes.

Premium Exterior Finish and Grip

The cube features a semi-gloss six-color plastic scheme with a fine matte texture that enhances grip without feeling abrasive. This finish provides:

• Excellent color recognition under different lighting conditions

• Reduced glare during long practice sessions

• Comfortable grip even during extended solves

The plastic quality is consistent and durable, ensuring long-term performance without fading or wear.

Engineered Internal Structure for Reliability

Inside, the MeiLong 9×9 V3 showcases MFJS’s refined big-cube engineering. The internal design includes:

• Anti-misalignment features to prevent layer catching

• Unified core support for even tension distribution

• Wider outer layers for improved grip and stability

• Optimized piece design to reduce internal friction

These structural upgrades result in smoother turning, fewer lockups, and a more reliable solving experience—whether you’re practicing casually or pushing for personal bests. Thanks to its balance of performance, comfort, and affordability, this cube stands out as one of the best-value magnetic 9×9 options available.
